Introducing VK Apps: a platform of services designed to make your life easier. These apps don’t require installation, they look fantastic and work quickly. Everything you need to do, from shopping and ordering services to sorting out everyday matters, is always on hand.

What are VK Apps

The VK Apps platform works with our API, therefore you don’t need to go through registration to use each individual app. If you want to order a taxi or buy something, you can allow the apps to access the information which you’ve already entered onto your VK profile. You don’t need to enter bank card details since you can pay for all of your orders using VK Pay.

In the VK Apps catalog, you can find services from our partners: “Taksovichkoff” taxis, Ubego, a platform for open-air quests, “Partiya Edi”, a service providing food and recipes delivery, YPLACES, an online list of beauty parlors and salons, and others. A full list can be found in the “Services” section in the VK mobile app menu (accessed through the 5th tab) or by following this link: vk.com/services. This is only the beginning. Several other services from various companies are currently in development.

You can make your favorite services easy to access by adding them to your mobile app menu by tapping “Add to favorites”.

How can I make my own service?

Create a new channel for selling your business’ goods and services. Any service that passes our strict technical review and abides by VK’s rules can find a spot in the VK Apps catalog.

VK Apps is an open and free solution. At its base are 3 React libraries for an ideal mobile device interface and interaction with the official app and VK API. You can learn more about the platform’s capabilities in our technical documentation and the VK App creators community.

We are continuing to perfect and simplify the tools needed to create VK Apps so that everyone who’s interested can have an easy way to offer their services, to VK users. In the near future, there will be support for the desktop version of vk.com, new abilities to work with device APIs and much more.
