I'm Alexandra Poletaeva, also known as Amy Fighter35. I'm an independent author and I build my own worlds.
I am the creator of my own projects: the Bird of Prey series, which includes Not Your Soviet Jet (Beloved Amy) and Weapon of Choice, and also The Nordland (The Darkest Hour). I'm a huge fan of the F-35B Lightning II ⚡️🙂
I do not use AI in my creative process – not for ideation, not for visual creation. My only tools are my own mind, Adobe Photoshop &Wacom (sometimes I also paint/draw traditionally).

BIRD OF PREY
Bird of Prey – my own project dedicated to my passion for the F-35B Lightning II, a personal story told through metaphor. It includes the following sections: Not Your Soviet Jet (Beloved Amy) and Weapon of Choice.
Bird of Prey also includes other aviation-themed art, such as portraits of real pilots like Bill Gigliotti and some others.
Weapon of Choice – the chronicle of fictional Major Jeremy ”IRAE” Patton, Amy's pilot, the story of his life and missions, a tale of grit, strategy, and the hand that guides the weapon.
Not Your Soviet Jet, Beloved Amy – tells the tale of an F-35B fighter jet named Amy, dedicated to my struggle for my identity, freedom, and recognition. In this story, the F-35B, a Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing (STOVL) aircraft, is opposed with the Soviet VTOL aircraft ”Yak”, which became a waste product of the Soviet military-industrial complex. This narrative reveals Amy as one of the most valuable and unique aircraft in aviation history.
THE NORDLAND
The Nordland (The Federation of Nordland) – the story of the meritocratic chemical country named The Nordland. This is a large-scale narrative that explores themes of global politics and economics. Its heroes are chemical elements and their compounds – herr Eisen, herr Oktan, herrin Erdöl (Oil), herr Uranium, herr Lithium, herr Plumbum (Blei, or Lead), and many others – who personify sectors of politics, economics, and industry. Their interactions are based on the logic of chemistry and alchemy, power and statecraft. The Darkest Hour is the working title of my book about Nordland.
Within the Nordland, you can find demo versions of the characters marked as demo versions; and current versions of characters marked as The Nordland: Renaissance. The earliest visual studies for this world are collected in The Pain Archive: Notes from Under the Mask.
