Call for participation at RTC Cup Robocup Asia-Pacific 2019
Hello, robocup community members and supporters!
We are really exited to announce our first RTC Cup competition as a satellite event of Robocup Asia-Pacific 2019!

RTC Cup is Russian countrywide robotic “search and rescue” competition, similar to “Rapidly manufactured robots” and “Rescue Robot”.
Our competition is for children, students and engineers who create robotic systems for "search and rescue" scenario. Competition is divided into two age categories: 11-14 y.o. and 17+ y.o.
Recommended overall dimensions of the robot are 350x400x400 mm in starting position, but it is not mandatory. Robot can be built of any nonhazardous hardware components.
In RTC Cup competition robot shall pass through the Test area within the specified time. Test area is a reconfigurable obstacle course, a maze, consisting of cells (a cell is cubical with a side of 800 mm). The maze was made to resemble different indoor and outdoor terrains and obstacles, some of them to imitate catastrophic events. Robot gains points by going through a cells and perfoming tasks, a number of points depends on difficulty of the obstacle or task, located in the cell. Number of cells is variable, usually about 40-50.
Tasks are divided into 3 categories: mobility, manipulation and autonomous tasks.

For 5 years we have had over 2500 participants from 97 cities all over Russia. Now we are glad to bring it to international level!
We invite everyone who wants to take part or just visit RTC Cup competition. We can promise you for sure - it would be quite a challenge, with many experienced teams participating.
